07. Peter Puffin & the Whale Tales Tour '97 Video (Live Concert VHS)

Recorded in June, 1997, on the final day of a 220 school tour, this hour long production captures the early days of Peter's touring show. Includes rare performances of songs that have not been included on Peter's first two releases. Captain Phonics is a rollicking audience participation song that warms up the crowd with hilariously exaggerated phonetic repeat-after-me actions by our superhero. Let the Sun Shine Down On Me is a beautiful sing-along song, co-written by Peter and Laurel Jamieson, that features Peter playing a four-stringed Appalachian dulcimer. This song was recently dusted off for the Calgary International Children's Festival shows in May 2000. Also includes the 'live' favourites: Bike Helmet Blues and The Whales Are Waiting, where student volunteers wear costumes of whale tails and a puffin.
