03. Renaissance Kids - Tapping Multiple Intelligences
Da Vinci was so much more than just a painter... (he was an accomplished architect, writer, philosopher and so much more) in short, he was a master of The Multiple Intelligences. In today's learning environment, an activity-based approach to integrated curriculum can tap into the multiple intelligences that all students have... reaching and engaging even more of your students. Participants will take away a hand-out which summarizes the activities, unit planning examples and curriculum connections explored during the session. Come join us to ACTUALLY DO ready-to-use activities which will arouse the Renaissance Kids in all of us.
Requested time: 1/4 or 1/2 day (ideally).
Audience: 50-ish.
Venue: carpeted or floor for group activities, chairs and/or writing tables.
A/V needs: overhead projector& screen, VHS video playback, slide projector
