Use music to teach environment science... drop in and experience these musical, storytelling and drama activities for teaching environmental science and language arts.

Sing the Cowpie Serenade (addressing land-use issues in Alberta). Do the theatrical Dragonfly Rap (about food chains and animal adaptations). Check out the giant whalebone skeleton while blindfolded. Maybe even touch a tarantula...

Summary handouts with curriculum ties will be available, so we'll just do the activities making them ready-to-use when you return to the classroom! Teaching resources (tapes, CDs, videos and accompanying activity booklets will be available at reduced prices).

Requested time: 1/4 or 1/2 day (ideally).
Audience: 50-ish.
Venue: carpeted or floor for group activities, chairs and/or writing tables.
A/V needs: overhead projector& screen, VHS video playback, slide projector
