A capacity crowd sang and danced for Family Literacy Day at Beaumont Library Jan.26, 2012!
Thanks to the stellar staff... and to all the smiling families who came out! Everyone proved that libraries are a cool place to raise the roof, singing some JUNO winning songs and meeting your neighbours over discovering some great books.
Suggestions to celebrate Family Literacy Day:
- Hide a cool book under someone's pillow.
- Each of us has our own stories, so ask a friend to share one.
- Write down a tale from your past and send it to someone who was there!
- Type a story where you are the hero!
- Be PROUD to read out loud!
- Read Blog entries only
- Read News Articles separately
- Read Award information separately
