As 13 year old Peter was stuck on his father's boat, he began to wonder," Was all of this worth it?" He said aloud knowing nobody would hear him. He remembered the reason why he ran away, because of his new stepmother, Veronica. How he hated her. Starving, he pulled out his book bag and began digging around to find food. A twinkie. " A twinkie" he laughed," all I have is a stupid TWINKIE!" 'He screamed loud enough to scare the birds away. " I know I will be rescued and I know there's still time..." Peter thought in his head as he stared at the light blue water. He watched as the little orange colored fish swam up to him and ran away as he put his hand in the water. He then heard a bell. He quickly looked up and relaized, there was no bell, no ship. Just his imagination.

Night fell, and Peter's eyes began to heavily drop. " I have to stay up...what if a ship comes by while I am sleeping?" He asked himself. Peter then slowly drifted off to a calm sleep. Peter was awaken by a cold wet feeling on his face. "Great, it is going to rain" Peter took the survival kit and took out the blanket. The water bean crashing against Peter's small boat, and he held quickly held on for dear life. All day the storm raged on, and Peter couldn;t hold on much longer. " I'm slipping!" Peter screamed and he fell into the crazy water. Peter couldn't swim very well. With his eyes shut, he kicked his legs, not knowing where he was going and swam to the top. He finally found the boat and climbed aboard. Finally, the water calmed down and Peter laid down as the sun slowly came out to shine.

Peter then heard the soud of what seemed like a bell. Peter thought it was his imagination, so he did not get up. As the noise got louder and louder, he told himself to stop imagining it. Then someone said, "Peter? Son? Is that you?" Peter looked up to find his father standing there. Peter screamed with happiness and hugged his dad. " When it begn to storm on our ship, you and I went and took a life boat, but the storn knocked me off and carried you away. Luckily, I swam to an island where they have been taking care of me these past 2 days." His father said. Peter and his dad then rode away to the island where he knew they'd be taken care of.

Once upon a time there was a 10 year old girl . Her name was Jessica. This girl's favorite animals, even more than her dog Charlie (who always drooled on her), were whales. Just like peter puffin. Every day she would watch as these amazing animals passed by. To her, it never got boring.

One day as she was watching the whales, she saw a boat with people who had guns and one of the guys was polluting the nice blue water. Now this was a problem! She could see the whales getting sicker so she decided to do something about it.

One day she sailed to an island and met people who could help her. She got ten people to come out and help her. After one day there were only 18 whales left. One of the people she happened to get was a police man. Once they found the boat, the police arrested them and all the whales lived happily and so did the 11 people, they started a environment club. Jessica felt good for saving the whales. You know, kid hearts just know. Jessica's did!
